1. White Corn: The paler cousin of the popularly available yellow corn has a few beauty tricks up its sleeve. White corn is great for lightening dark circles. It is rich in iron and fructose which help energize skin. By taking away dullness it paves the way for less stressed and glowing skin.

How to use: A couple of tea spoons of white corn juice dabbed around your eyes is all it takes to benefit from this super food.

 2. Guava: Guava is 90% Vitamin C, in terms of nutritional ratio. Vitamin C is an anti-aging miracle worker which also acts as a natural sun block protecting skin from the UV rays. In addition, this tropical fruit is a natural astringent that cleans out pores and maintains the pH of skin.

How to use: Dried green guavas can be crushed and applied on the skin for a boost of vitamin c. The seeds also make it a quick and natural exfoliating scrub.

3. Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera is no longer just a remedy for skin burn. The benefits of Aloe Vera include skin brightening and lightening post acne scars. We suggest you to excise caution while using pure Aloe Vera as pure Aloe gel is very potent. It needs to be diluted with water before applying on skin. Also be prepared to feel a mild sting.

How to use: Apply tinted moisturizer over a layer of Aloe Vera on your skin for long lasting dewy skin.

4. Avocado: Avocado is a nourishing and yummy fruit that has long been touted as a skin savior for dry skin.

It is a good solution for our skin as our skin makes an instant connection with Avocado and thus we encourage use of avocado as a face mask on mature skin. Apart from the healthy omega 3 fats that heal dry skin, avocado also helps tighten open pores and reduce pigmentation.

How to use: Go ahead and slather some on before scooping the rest into your guacamole.

5. Milk: Easy to buy from anywhere and use, Milk is rich in lactic acid. It helps exfoliate the skin's outer layer and resurfaces the underlying healthy cells. Though it is easy to overuse milk in our routine, we advise you to use it in a balanced way as lactic acid is capable of weakening skin over time and making our epidermal layer photo sensitive.

How to use: Cleansing your face with milk, twice a week is the recommended usage.
